The Barcelo Hotel Fuerteventura is found in the resort of Costa Caleta and is just a short 15 minute transfer from the airport. The resort is underneath the final approach at about 3.5 miles for runway 01, which is the normal direction for arriving aircraft. The hotel is right next to the beach and just 100m to the resort centre, which includes bars and restaurants. From the hotel you will have little or no problems reading off the inbounds with reasonable photo opportunities to be had as well.

Spotting *** Expect to read virtually everything off. The only possible exception being the inter island flights operated by Binter which can turn on to a short final approach, making it difficult to read them off.

 

Photos   **  Expect to be able to get some reasonable photos from the hotel.
