The Radisson Hotel 

Location :*** located at under 1.5 miles from the terminal and is linked by a free shuttle bus. This is regarded as the hotel to use for those who are after the FEDEX fleet at night time !

Spotting :***  Outstanding, the hotel is right next to the threshold of Runway 18R. From here a room overlooking the airport will give great views of the runway and also the link taxiway from the runway to the Fedex facility. Reports indicate that the lighting conditions allow the FEDEX traffic using the taxiway to be read off at night time. It is estimated that on a night long session you can read off about 70% of the FEDEX movements from this point.

Photos : *** The hotel car park is literally next to the link taxiway from the Fedex facility to RW18R. As the taxiway is above eye level you obtain clear shots of anything taxing. Note that this taxiway is only used by around 70% of the Fedex and the occasional other movements.
