The Loftleider Hotel
is only 10-15 metres from the one of the ramps
and approximately 150 meters from rwy 01/19. The ramp
nearest to the hotel is used for planes being ferried across
the atlantic and biz jets. Air Iceland and Eagle Air operate
around 44 flights a day so you will definitely see some
action. The Air Iceland ramp is on the other side of rwy
01/19 but Eagle Air operates from the southern side of the
ramp nearest to the hotel. The Eagle Air terminal and office
is just 5 meters from the hotel and they offer various
sightseeing flights.
