Cordial
Golf Plaza Apart Hotel
has some of the better views of the Golf Del Sur Complex.
Arrivals onto runway 08 can easily be seen and photographed from
the pool area of this hotel, or the room balcony if you get a
room on the right side of the hotel.
Location ** Not far from the airport, on
final approach to runway 08.
Spotting ***
Excellent. All movements can be seen from the pool area or
certain hotel rooms. For reg spotters we recommend rooms 131-138
and 230-236
Photos ***
Excellent shots can be taken from the pool area. The following
rooms numbers enable you to take photos from the balcony,
117/118/215 and 216. These rooms are ideal as they are far
enough away from the approach to give a good angle on the
inbounds (see below)
Value ** Prices vary considerably depending on when you stay. For example a week in November is typically £350
for the apartment.

The Hotel
Gema Aguamarina Golf is regarded as a good hotel to stay at to see the movements in to Tenerife South. The resort is only about 2 miles from the airport and situated by the sea.
It is a nice hotel with good spacious rooms all of which had a
TV, fridge and hair dryer. There`s a car park alongside. If this
was full there`s plenty space on the street. The food was ok,
typical buffet style with a good choice but as with most hotels
offering a buffet the food could be a bit warmer.
Location ** Not far from the airport,
about a 10 minute drive
Spotting *** Reported as being the best hotel to see the many varied movements
the
following rooms will be suitable for spotting...533-537,
433-441, 333-345, 332-317, 232-217 &132-117. Rooms 533-537 will
allow departures off 08 to be seen once airborne. I`d doubt this
is possible from the lower rooms.
Photos *** Excellent
approach shots can be taken from your balcony as demonstrated
below.
Value ** Prices vary considerably depending on when you stay.
Expect to pay around £55 a night during the summer period.
