Location **  A 5 minute drive from the terminal building (the terminal can be seen on the top part of the photo below)

Spotting **   Ask for a high level room facing the airport. The hotel is located in between the 2 parallel runways on short final. Unfortunately the reflective coating on the windows distorts the aircraft slightly making it difficult to read off inbounds and outbounds.

At night time the UPS activity can be seen on both runways, but SBS/ACARS is needed to identify the aircraft. 90 UPS flights were logged from the hotel in the period 0300-0530 on a Tuesday night. During the day inbounds/outbounds are visible from the hotel car park and should be read off easily.

Photos **  Forget photos from the room. From the car park arriving shots should be possible on one of the runways although better spots exist on the perimeter about a 5 minute drive away.

Value ** Quite a plush hotel but rooms can be had for around £60 a night
