staying at the park royal airport hotel at the moment on the 8th floor in room 849, fantastic views of the runways and most of the airport, you can pick up most of the aircraft with a good pair of bins, SBS or FR24 you would need when it goes dark, rooms are big and very nice, all the usual mod cons in them. there is a walk way connecting the hotel to the terminal where you can find all your usual fast food outlets, eating in the hotel isn’t cheap, prepared to pay £25 for a buffet breakfast, the hotel isn’t cheap but worth it just for the views.
