The Grand Chancellor Hotel is just a short 10 minute courtesy bus ride from the terminals. The bus departs from a stop in between the Qantas and Air New Zealand domestic terminals. There are no views from the rooms although you can get a very limited view of arrivals and departures from the hotel car park. Located near to the hotel are several restaurants. This hotel is reported as being the closest to the terminal buildings despite being 10 minutes ride away.

Location ** Convenient for somewhere to stay, but don't expect any views from the rooms.

Spotting ** Use the open-air viewing deck found at the Air new Zealand domestic terminal. From here expect to see virtually all the movements.

Photos * Not an option from the rooms. The viewing deck mentioned above does offer good opportunities for photos, particularly in the afternoon.

Value *** Great value at just £59 for a twin room at weekends. This price does not include breakfast.
