The Clarion Hotel (formally Hilton Airport Hotel)             Updated 2018
is connected to the terminal by a covered walkway.

Tip 1 : Take a trip to the Netto supermarket 2 minutes walk away from the hotel for supplies of food and beer. These are much cheaper than the hotel minibar prices. A McDonald’s is also found in this area.

Tip 2 : Good value restaurants can be found in Kastrup which is a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. Simply follow your nose out of the hotel over the pedestrian bridge across the motorway.

Tip 3. The executive rooms with the best views also give you access to the exec lounge. Here you get a large breakfast buffet and between 1800-2000 snacks and alcoholic drinks, all included in your room price.

Tip 4 : If landings are on 22L, follow the road from the hotel to the SAS hangers until you reach the end of the runway (around a 20 min walk). Great landing shots can be taken here.

Tip 5: Bus 35 from the terminal also takes you past the SAS hangers, Maintenance and cargo before it continues to the Flyvergrillen viewing area on the other side of the airport.

Location: *** Five minute walk to terminal area via a covered walkway
Spotting: *** Superb views of apron area from 10th-12th floors. Request even numbered rooms in the 31-40 range category.

Executive rooms on the 12th floor give excellent views of the action.

Photos: ** Not reported but limited opportunities should be available from the room with a good telephoto lens
Value: * Prices from £119 per room.
Book: The hotel can be booked through AGODA at this link . Please book through this link if the price is good, we receive a small commission payment from the hotel which helps with the monthly expense of maintaining the website.

Park Inn Copenhagen Airport
A modern comfy hotel spread over five floors. The advantage of this hotel is that it is very convenient for the Terminals at CPH. It boasts an excellent, though dear restaurant. Room 550-570 give views of landing aircraft on 22L and departing 04R.
Rooms 522-540 would probably be better as these look towards the Airport. Use of SBS would also be a help.
Location: ** The hotel is situated two stops down from CPH on the Metro {five minutes} at the Femoren stop. This also gives easy access to other viewing areas at CPH and Downtown Copenhagen
Spotting: ** As mentioned above. Good views are to be had from this hotel.
Photos: ** Early morning sun can be a problem, and a 400-mil lens is needed.
Value: * Not cheap. Rooms start at about £114 this does include breakfast.
Book: The hotel can be booked through this link
