Location :*** Located in the terminal itself.

Spotting :***  Specify a runway facing room and the views are excellent. As the hotel is central you are only able to view one side of the airport from the rooms. The hotel pool area gives very good views of the Easterly runways and also distant views of the westerlies. The airport multi storey car parks are also just a short walk away.

RENAISSANCE HOTEL

Location :** On perimeter of airfield

Spotting :** Ask for a room overlooking the airport. Room 728 has views of landing and departing traffic.

THE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS

Location :** On perimeter of airfield. The hotel provides free internet, there is no bar or resteraunt, however rooms have a microwave and fridge and there is a 7 Eleven garage right next to the hotel, as well as a McDonalds.

Spotting :*** Rooms on the 3rd and 4th floor give very good views of the airport. Room 402 is reported to be the one giving the best views (beware these are double rooms only). Any even numbered room should be fine on the 3rd and 4th floors but try to get as low as possible for the better views (eg 402,404,406,408). Aircraft landing on the Eastern Runways are easy to read off, but SBS will be required for the far runways.

Of course the real attraction of Orlando are the theme parks. The hotels at International drive are a 20 minute drive from the airport however there are no views of the airport. The resort of Kissimee are nearby to the Disney parks entrances however the International Airport is around a 30-40 drive away. Kissimee does have its own small airport which gets the occasional bizz jet and at a recent visit had 5 Shorts 360 s in stoarge as well as an excellent war bird museum.
